I'm going through hell to just get the URL for the Firefox browser/start page. I just did a factory image recovery and all I get after downloading and installing the Firefox browser is a tab that says 'about blank.' I'm not getting the URL in the address bar so that I can put that URL into my home page protection (I'm using Advanced System Care Ultimate). Once I get that URL and place it in the home page protection box of my security software, I will be good to go, because I want to use Firefox as my default browser. I've searched the FAQs and asked the question in every way that I know, in English, and there seems to be nobody out there who can just tell me the URL for this start page. While I don't understand why this is so difficult to get, I certainly need and would be grateful for a fix to this problem.

- Navigate to https://www.startpage.com and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click Add to Firefox.
- Click Yes, Install from the Firefox add-on store
- Click Add
- Click Yes
- Choose whether to allow the Startpage extension to run in Private Windows and click Okay, Got It to finish.
You will now be able to enter your search term directly in the URL bar or in the search box to the right. Hit Enter to perform your Startpage search.
